The Badger...Chapter Two

Dear readers…so its on to Chapter 2 of The Badger. He’s in a boarding school now somewhere in the West of Ireland. Somewhere bleak. Somewhere, where for the most part all the trees have been taken down for sheep. Who in their right mind would choose sheep over trees ? We would that’s who. Idiots. Remedial blind idiots. What kind of an imagination turns what was once a kingdom of oak, alder and ash into a land of low walls and nothingness? An empire of stupidity. There’s something very mean about people. It’s not our fault though. I don’t think. Perhaps we’ve had the generosity colonised out of ourselves…..

But all is not lost. We have huge room and huge love for the kind word and that means that there’s hope. Maybe we can travel the distance from the word to the world and allow our country, allow this island to be gorgeous, totally gorgeous, naturally gorgeous again.

In the meantime, we must have some fun… so…. The Badger…
